Bringing Your Kids to Cross Court? Here’s What You Need to Know
We welcome you to bring your children with you while you play if needed. However, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:
Please do not let children play with the paddles or balls
There have been incidents where other players were hit by balls or games were disrupted by balls rolling onto the courts.
Keep a close eye on your children to prevent accidents or disruptions, or defacing of property
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and fun environment for all players!
New 10-Minute Rule for Leagues
To ensure leagues run smoothly, we’re introducing a 10-minute rule:
If you are going to be 10 minutes late for your league, do not come.
If someone in your league is late, wait 10 minutes before removing them from the schedule on Swish.
Late arrivals disrupt the flow of games and impact everyone else’s experience. Thank you for your cooperation in making leagues enjoyable for all players!
Stay Fit and Injury-Free with Spring Physiotherapy
This Week's Tip: Strengthening Your Grip for Pickleball Players
A strong grip improves control and power during matches. Try these exercises:
Tennis Ball Squeeze: Hold a tennis ball in one hand and squeeze it as hard as you can for 5 seconds. Release and repeat 15 times per hand.
Wrist Roll: Use a light dumbbell or weighted stick. Hold it with both hands and roll your wrists forward and backward. Do this for 1 minute.
Visit Spring Physiotherapy for a Fit For Life Assessment to address any weaknesses in your strength or mobility and reduce injury risk. Call 902-453-1525 extension 2 or email admin@springphysio.ca to book today!
Thank you for being part of the Cross Court community! Let’s keep playing, learning, and growing together.
