REMINDER: FIND A SUBSTITUTE
If you know you’ll be missing a league night, please do your best to find a substitute.
This helps keep schedules running smoothly and ensures everyone gets the maximum amount of play.
Need help finding one? Post in the Cross Court Facebook group or send us an email.
REMINDER: REGISTER FOR THE CORRECT SKILL LEVEL
Please register for events that match your current playing ability or DUPR rating.
Balanced games are more enjoyable for everyone and help all players continue improving.
If you’re unsure which level is right for you, just ask—we’re happy to help.
TIP OF THE WEEK
Recover to ready after every shot.
Many players admire their shot for a split second before preparing for the next one. As soon as your paddle makes contact with the ball, recover to a balanced ready position with your paddle up.
Being ready for the next shot often makes a bigger difference than the shot you just hit.
DID YOU KNOW?
Most points in pickleball end because of an unforced error—not because of a winner.
Staying patient, keeping one extra ball in play, and avoiding unnecessary risks will often win more games than trying to hit perfect shots.
