Good Habits for a Positive Community
With fall around the corner, it's important for us as a community to continue practicing good habits. Always do the right thing and take care of the space and each other. Follow the rules: stop playing three minutes before the end of your booking, bring no food or drink other than water onto the courts, and wear clean shoes only. Always clean up after yourself. Remember, CrossCourt operates on the principle that we all do the right thing for each other, and that kindness is always more important than winning.

This Week's Physio Tip: Mobility Exercises for Pickleball Players
Good mobility is crucial for effective movement on the court. Try these exercises to enhance your flexibility and performance:
Cat-Cow Stretch: Start on your hands and knees. Alternate between arching your back while dropping your head (Cat) and lowering your back while lifting your head (Cow). Repeat for 1 minute.
Hip Circles: Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, hands on hips. Rotate your hips in large circles, 30 seconds clockwise, then 30 seconds counterclockwise.
Join Heather MacAulay at Spring Physiotherapy every Wednesday morning from 9:15 am to 9:45 am for a complimentary Pickleball Fitness Class. This class focuses on enhancing play and preventing injuries.
Secure Your Spot: Email admin@springphysio.ca or call 902-453-1525 extension 2.
Thank you for being part of our CrossCourt community. Your active participation and support help us provide the best possible pickleball experience.
Yours in Pickleball,
