Summer’s Here but the Best Play Still Happens Indoors
Every time we step into the courts and hear the laughter, high-fives, and paddle pops echoing through the space, we’re reminded why Cross Court exists in the first place. What started as a simple dream has grown into something truly special, a vibrant, welcoming community built around fun, friendship, and great pickleball.
Whether you’re squeezing in a drop-in before your beach day, training with your tournament team, or just playing for the joy of it, you’re helping create the energy that makes Cross Court feel like home. And guess what? That magic doesn’t stop when the weather heats up.
Beat the heat, rally with friends, and keep your serve sizzling, all summer long, indoors at Cross Court.
We love seeing you on the courts and can’t wait for more rallies, laughs, and unforgettable moments ahead.
Thank you for being part of the Cross Court family. You make this place what it is.
Important Tips for Subbing in a League:
If you’re planning to sub in for someone during league play, please keep these key points in mind:
• Update the Player Name: When subbing in, be sure to remove the name of the person you’re replacing and enter your own name.
• Check the DUPR ID: When updating the name, also remove the original player’s DUPR ID. If you don’t, your name might show up, but they’ll get credit for your games. If you know your own DUPR ID, enter it. If not, it’s fine to leave it blank.
• Do NOT Edit Once the Round Robin Starts: If the round robin has already begun and someone (including you) needs to leave, do not remove any names. Changing the lineup after play has started will erase all game data—and unfortunately, we can’t recover it. Instead, just keep playing and make a note of who is playing in those games. Then send an email with the updated details.
Be Noise Aware
We love the energy, laughter, and excitement that pickleball brings, it’s part of what makes our community so amazing!
That said, indoor spaces can amplify sound more than we realize. Let’s all be mindful of our volume during games so that everyone can stay focused, have fun, and enjoy their time on the court.
Cheering each other on is always welcome, just with a little extra awareness indoors.
Thanks for helping keep the vibes fun, respectful, and inclusive for all players!
