This Week's Tip: Balance Exercises for Pickleball Players
Good balance is essential for agility on the court and can help prevent falls, making these exercises valuable for pickleball players:
Single-Leg Stands: Stand on one leg with the other leg lifted slightly off the ground. Hold for 30 seconds, then switch legs. For an added challenge, try closing your eyes.
Heel-to-Toe Walk: Walk in a straight line, placing the heel of one foot directly in front of the toes of the other foot. Take 20 steps forward and then 20 steps backward. This exercise helps improve your coordination and balance.
Enhance your balance and agility by joining Heather MacAulay at Spring Physiotherapy every Wednesday morning from 9:15 am to 9:45 am for a complimentary Pickleball Fitness Class. Secure your spot by emailing admin@springphysio.ca or calling 902-453-1525 extension 2.
Thank you for your continued support and participation at CrossCourt. Together, we create a vibrant and inclusive pickleball community.
