Cross Court Pickleball Newsletter – February 10

What truly sets Cross Court apart goes beyond wins, rankings, or tight matches.

It’s the energy in the building. The high-fives after long rallies. The encouragement between points. The “great shot!” even when it’s your opponent who made it. The way someone new can walk through our doors and immediately feel welcomed.

When we look at how far so many of you have come, from your first intro session to confidently competing in leagues and DUPR events, it’s incredible. The growth on court has been amazing to watch, and what’s even more special are the friendships that have formed along the way. Teammates becoming training partners. Drop-in groups turning into weekly traditions. A sport that started as “just trying something new” becoming a real community.

That culture doesn’t happen by accident. It’s created by YOU, every time you step on court with positivity, sportsmanship, and respect.

We’re proud of this community.

Upcoming DUPR Event – Women’s 2.8–3.3

Our DUPR event is slightly different from a traditional tournament format. It’s designed to be a low-stress way to get lots of quality games in while helping improve the accuracy of your DUPR rating. The focus is on match play and data collection rather than podium finishes, so players can relax, compete, and enjoy the experience.

Format Includes:

• DUPR-Rated Round Robin (Rotating Partners)

• DUPR-Rated Team Play

• Multiple competitive matches

• Structured gameplay with balanced matchups

This event gives you valuable reps under real match conditions while still keeping the atmosphere positive and encouraging.

Saturday, Feb 28

11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

$30

Every match played counts toward your official DUPR rating, so it’s a great way to establish or strengthen your number heading into league season.

Spots are limited and these events have been filling quickly, secure your place early!
