Welcome back to another week at Cross Court! It’s been so great seeing everyone out playing, improving, and connecting on the courts. Whether you’ve been with us for a while or are just getting started, we’re so glad you’re here and part of this community.
Lately, the energy has been incredible. From busy drop-ins and competitive rallies to those in between moments where people are meeting new partners, learning the game, and simply enjoying their time on the court, it has been amazing to watch. It’s especially great seeing so many players stepping out of their comfort zones, trying new levels, and continuing to build confidence each week.
What truly makes Cross Court special is the people. The encouragement, sportsmanship, and willingness to welcome new faces is something we really value. Whether you are here to compete, stay active, or just have fun, you are helping create a positive and inclusive environment for everyone.
We have another great week ahead with plenty of opportunities to get on the court, so be sure to take a look at what’s coming up below. We look forward to seeing you out there!

Reminder: Guaranteed Bookings are a block style booking where you get the same day and time booked each week and pay by the month. You have the option to cancel at the end of each month but once people get one they typically don't give them up. These bookings guaranteed a spot for you in the winter months so keeping them through the summer months is very valuable.
Let’s Keep Our Space Clean Together
Quick reminder to everyone that the blue recycling bins are for recycling only, not garbage. We’ve recently had to sort through items before pickup, which is not a pleasant job.
Also, please remember to clean up after yourselves. This is a shared space, and when everyone does their part, it helps keep the facility clean and enjoyable for everyone.
Thank you for your help with this!
Important Membership Reminder
A quick reminder as we continue to grow:
While guests are always welcome to join sessions, anyone attending regularly must be registered as at least a Casual Member.
This helps us:
• Maintain fair access to courts
• Support programming across all levels
• Ensure the best possible experience for everyone
We appreciate everyone doing their part to keep things running smoothly.
League Play Is in Full Swing
Leagues are now well underway, and the level of play continues to rise each week.
You can really see the difference as players settle into their groups—rallies are getting longer, communication is improving, and strategies are starting to take shape.
League play offers something unique:
• Consistent competition
• Familiar matchups that push your game
• Opportunities to adjust and improve week to week
• A strong sense of accountability and progress
It’s one of the best ways to take your game to the next level
League Sub Guidelines (Reminder)
To keep things fair and consistent:
• Subs must match the level of the league
• For DUPR-rated leagues, subs must be aware in advance
• League spots cannot be transferred between levels
Subs also MUST be a Cross Court member!
Thanks to everyone for helping maintain balanced and competitive play.

The best part of this sport isn’t just the rallies, it’s everything around them.
The quick chats between games.
The encouragement after a tough point. The familiar faces that turn into friendships.
That’s what makes Cross Court what it is.
Let’s keep building that.
Choose kindness. Every time.
