Cross Court Pickleball Newsletter – May 11, 2026

Not every memorable moment at Cross Court happens during a match… and this one definitely deserves a shoutout.

Huge shoutout on this awesome pickleball promposal, that’s one way to ask someone in style.

Now it’s your turn, Cross Court family. We want to see your favorite Cross Court memories, big wins, funny moments, friendships, first games, or special moments like this.

Share your favorite Cross Court photo in the comments on our Facebook post and let’s celebrate the memories that make this community so special.

May is one of the best times to play pickleball. The energy is high, leagues are kicking off, new players are jumping in, and the courts are full of familiar faces and fresh competition.

While outdoor season gets underway, don’t forget how much can happen in a single indoor session. New partnerships are built, confidence grows, shots start clicking, and before you know it… your game feels different.

Whether you’re here to compete, learn, sweat, laugh, or just get a few great games in, Cross Court is built for exactly that. And with so many leagues, ladders, drop-ins, and clinics coming up, there’s no better time to stay in the mix.

Here’s what’s happening this week at Cross Court

Skills & Drills

If your game feels stuck, it might be time for more than just games. Playing helps you compete. Drilling helps you improve.

These sessions focus on reps, footwork, shot selection, transition play, and the small details that turn into big improvements.

Current sessions:

Bedford – Tuesdays at 5:00 PM

Dartmouth – Wednesdays at 9:00 AM

If you’re serious about improving, don’t skip this.

INTRO CLASSES

Everyone starts somewhere and this is the perfect place to start.

Whether you’ve never picked up a paddle or you’re still learning the basics, our Intro to Pickleball sessions are built to help new players learn the game in a fun, low-pressure environment.

We’ll cover the rules, scoring, basic shots, and get you playing right away. Paddles and balls are provided, just show up ready to have fun.

Bedford – Mondays 7:00–9:00 PM

Dartmouth – Thursdays 7:00–9:00 PM (bi-weekly) Next session: May 7

Private Coaching

Want faster results?

Private coaching is still the quickest way to identify what’s holding your game back and fix it faster.

Train with our coaching team and get direct feedback on strategy, mechanics, positioning, and decision-making.

Current rates:

$60/hr – 1 player

$40/hr each – 2 players

$30/hr each – 3–4 players

COURT UPDATES

To keep our courts in top playing condition, we’ll be completing court touch-ups and resurfacing work at both Cross Court facilities May 20–22.

Because of this, some bookings may be affected during those dates. If your reservation is impacted, someone from our team will reach out directly as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue investing in the best possible playing experience for our community.

A Quick Membership Reminder

As our programs continue to fill up, we just wanted to remind everyone that an active membership is required to participate in all leagues, drop-ins, Skills & Drills, and other organized sessions at Cross Court.

All players must also be registered in advance through their account before arriving. This helps us manage numbers, plan sessions properly, and make sure everyone who signed up has their spot secured.

Thank you for helping us keep things organized, fair, and running smoothly for all players.

Thanks for being part of the Cross Court community. Whether you’re jumping into leagues, working on your game in Skills & Drills, or just coming out for some great drop-in games, we appreciate every player who continues to show up, compete, and help make this club what it is.

We’ll see you on court.
