LEAGUE SUBSTITUTES
A friendly reminder to all league players that it is each player’s responsibility to arrange a substitute if they are unable to attend a league night.
Finding a sub helps ensure that matches can be played as scheduled and keeps things running smoothly for everyone involved. We encourage players to use our Facebook groups, league chats, or reach out to fellow members when looking for a replacement.
Thank you for helping make our leagues enjoyable and organized for all participants.

KINDNESS ALWAYS WINS
At Cross Court, we believe pickleball should be fun, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. While competition is part of the game, kindness, respect, and sportsmanship matter even more.
We expect all players to treat fellow members, guests, staff, coaches, and volunteers with courtesy and respect both on and off the court. Encouragement, patience, and understanding help create the positive community that makes Cross Court special.
Everyone has different backgrounds, skill levels, and goals, but one thing we can all control is how we treat each other. Kindness always wins, and together we can continue to build a community where everyone feels welcome.
Tip of the Week
Stop backing up when you’re in the transition zone. Instead, hold your ground and focus on resetting the ball softly into the kitchen. You’ll gain control of the point much faster.
DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that the average pickleball rally lasts less than 10 seconds? Quick reactions and patience are often more important than power.
