Summer has officially arrived, and while many players are taking advantage of outdoor courts, cottages, vacations, and beautiful weather, we’re still here providing a reliable place to play, improve, and stay connected with the pickleball community.
Indoor pickleball offers something outdoor play can’t always guarantee, consistent court conditions, no weather interruptions, and a scheduled game every week.
Whether you’re looking to keep your skills sharp or simply get out for some fun exercise, we’d love to see you on court.

LEAGUE ETIQUETTE REMINDER
To help leagues run smoothly and ensure everyone gets the maximum amount of court time, we kindly ask all players to arrive 5–10 minutes before their scheduled start time.
This allows enough time to check in, find your court, warm up, and be ready to play when league begins.
While we understand that occasional delays happen, late arrivals have become more common recently and can impact the experience for everyone else.
League coordinators and players may wait up to 5 minutes for a missing player. After that, matches may begin without them to keep the schedule on track.
Thank you for helping us keep leagues running efficiently and respectfully for all participants.

Congratulations, Tanya! You have won a $50 credit to your Cross Court play account.
Thank you again to everyone who entered. We loved seeing your on-court moments, and who knows… there may be another photo contest in the future!
MOVING FROM SWISH TO PICKLEHEADS
As many of you have already noticed, we’re in the process of transitioning our leagues from Swish to Pickleheads.
This change was made due to a number of ongoing issues we were experiencing with Swish, and we believe Pickleheads will provide a smoother and more reliable experience for our players moving forward.
Instruction sheets have been posted at both facilities to help make the transition as easy as possible. If you’re new to Pickleheads, don’t worry, it should be fairly straightforward to navigate once you’ve had a chance to explore it.
We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through this transition. As with any new system, there may be a few bumps along the way, but we’re confident this will be a positive change for our community.
RAINY DAYS? THINK CROSS COURT
One thing we know about summer in Atlantic Canada is that the weather doesn’t always cooperate.
When outdoor courts are wet, windy, or cancelled, remember that our indoor courts are always ready for play.
Keep us in mind the next time the forecast changes!
THANK YOU
Thank you for continuing to support Cross Court. Whether you’re playing in leagues, attending drop-ins, taking lessons, or introducing someone new to the sport, you’re helping grow the pickleball community every day.
We look forward to seeing you on court soon!
The Cross Court Team
