Important Reminder for Temporary Access Code Users
For those of you using a temporary access code with our lock box, it's crucial to follow the directions carefully. Please ensure you return the FOB to the lock box after use. If you don’t, it complicates things for everyone—and no one wants complicated!
Membership and Payment Updates
As we continue to streamline our operations and ensure seamless access to our facilities and services, it's important to stay up-to-date with your membership and payment information:
Credit Card Updates: If your payment method on file is expiring soon, you will receive notifications from both our system and directly from us. Please remember to update your credit card information through our website, not the app, to avoid any interruption in your membership or booking capabilities.
Casual Membership Renewals: Casual memberships require confirmation for renewal. When your membership is due, you must respond to our renewal notice to confirm you want to continue. If we do not receive a confirmation, your membership will be canceled. This might go unnoticed until you attempt to sign up for your regular league and find your spot has been taken.
New Youth Drop-In Program
We are very excited to introduce our new youth drop-in program for ages 8-12! These sessions are a great opportunity for young players to get into the game, improve their skills, and have fun playing pickleball.
Bedford: Tuesdays, 6-7 PM
Dartmouth: Thursdays, 6-7 PM
Parents can register using their account up to 7 days in advance, one week at a time. Pricing will be the same as for our Skills and Drills sessions, based on the membership you hold. These sessions will be lightly coached, focusing mainly on playing and engaging the kids in the sport.
Drop-In Sessions This Week
As we continue to help you find the best games at your level, if you are a member of the Cross Court Club on DUPR, we will send you a specific email each week with the drop-ins available to play at your level. This personalized approach ensures you are matched with sessions that fit your skill level, enhancing your playing experience.

Upcoming Sanctioned Tournament: Important Information
Our upcoming sanctioned tournament is a significant event, marking the first of its kind in Nova Scotia outside of provincials and regionals (that i know of:). We've planned this tournament to provide the maximum number of games with minimal waiting times. Delays may happen, but we ask for your patience and understanding. Help us make this a successful event so we can host more in the future and support the legitimization of your tournament ratings!
Parking: Please park efficiently, avoid blocking driveways, and do not park on the road to the self-storage. Consider using side roads if the lot is full.
Play and Timings: Enjoy the games and have fun. Remember, this is for you. If we all work together and this runs smooth we can offer more in the future.
Stay Fit and Injury-Free with Spring Physiotherapy!
This Week's Tip: Flexibility Exercises for Pickleball Players
Improving your flexibility can enhance your performance and prevent injuries. Here are two exercises recommended by our physiotherapists:
Hamstring Stretch: Sit on the ground with one leg extended and the other bent. Reach towards your toes on the extended leg, keeping your back straight. Hold for 20 seconds and switch legs. Watch this variation by our physiotherapist: YouTube Stretch Link
Shoulder Stretch: Bring one arm across your chest and use the other arm to gently pull it closer to your body. Hold for 20 seconds and switch arms.
Boost your overall pickleball performance by joining Heather MacAulay at Spring Physiotherapy every Wednesday morning from 9:15 am to 9:45 am for a complimentary Pickleball Fitness Class. Secure your spot by emailing admin@springphysio.ca or calling 902-453-1525 extension 2.
